Heather Farrell, CMT a certified massage therapist. I earned my Associates of Science, Sports & Rehabilitation Therapy from Fremont College in 2015.
Heather has always been interested in alternative medicine. However, in 2010 her mom went through a series of events that left her in need of serious rehabilitation. While watching her navigate through occupational therapy for a broken hand, then wrist and a fractured pelvis within a year, Heather saw that although her mom was doing the exercises/stretches given to her she was still in quite a lot of pain. The only thing, besides pain pills, that provided relief was when Heather massaged her hands, arms and legs. That is when Heather had her “aha moment” and decided to look into schools that provided an in-depth massage therapy program that would teach her how to help her mom rehabilitate with minimal pain or discomfort.
Her passion is helping people improve their quality of life by relieving muscle aches and pains, increasing mobility, and flexibility through therapeutic massage. Whether the pain comes from daily living, work, athletics, or injury rehabilitation her goal is to get them back to doing these activities pain free and as quickly as possible.
